Seamless Gutters vs. Sectional: Why It Matters in North Jersey

Seams leak. Here's why every gutter we install in North Jersey is fabricated seamlessly on site — and why leaf guards are non-negotiable.

Sectional gutters — the kind you buy at a big box store in 10-foot lengths — have a seam every 10 feet that's joined with caulk or pop rivets. Every one of those seams is a future leak.

Seamless gutters are roll-formed on site from a single coil of aluminum (or copper). Our truck-mounted machine extrudes the exact length needed for each run of your house, so the only seams are at corners and downspouts.

In North Jersey, this matters more than most places. Bergen and Morris County see roughly 50 inches of rain per year, plus heavy snowmelt. A single leaking seam over a window can rot the framing in a few seasons.

Material matters too. Standard 5" K-style aluminum handles most homes. We upgrade to 6" oversized gutters on homes with steep roofs, large roof areas, or significant tree coverage — common in towns like Montclair, Ridgewood, and Mountain Lakes.

And leaf guards? In a region full of oaks, maples, and sycamores, micro-mesh leaf protection (like Gutter Helmet or LeafFilter-style systems) pays for itself the first time you don't have to climb a ladder in November.
